If your financial aid is sufficient to pay your direct costs to ̳ (tuition/fees and on campus room/meals) and funds remain, you may charge your books at the ̳ Bookstore or receive funds to purchase them off campus prior to the start of the term. Financial Aid Net Price Calculator:
The University of Central Arkansas’ was developed to help families of first year first time students plan for educational costs for the 2023-2024 academic year. Results are based on 2022-2023 Cost of Attendance figures currently being utilized and student aid eligibility requirements. The intent of this tool is to provide you with the best estimate of your expenses and financial aid possibilities, but your final aid award will depend on your actual 2023-2024 FAFSA results and your official academic information.
Based on the information you enter, the Net Price Calculator will return an estimate of typical expenses for a student like you to attend ̳ and an estimate of financial aid that you may be eligible to receive. The estimates will help you determine your “net cost” – your likely out-of-pocket expenses – to attend ̳. Please contact the University of Central Arkansas Financial Aid Office for more details.
College Financing Plan:
The College Financing Plan, formerly known as the Financial Aid Shopping Sheet, is a U.S. Department of Education comparison tool that participating colleges and universities use to provide prospective students an estimate of the cost of education and estimates of financial aid eligibility.
All admitted degree seeking, financial aid applicants have access to the College Financing Plan through their my̳ self service portal. We encourage you to use this information to compare estimated costs and aid eligibility at other schools being considered.
Federal Financial Aid Cost of Attendance:
A student’s Cost of Attendance (COA), also referred to as the student’s budget, is an estimated amount that it will cost to attend school. It is determined using rules established by federal and state laws. This number is used by the school to determine the maximum amount of financial aid (loans, grants, scholarships, fee-waivers, etc.) a student can receive for that award year. For more information see the Cost of Attendance page.
