What is the FAFSA®Ìý´Ú´Ç°ù³¾?
Colleges and career schools use the ¹ó´¡¹ó³§´¡Â® form to determine how much financial aid you’re eligible to receive, which could include grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. At Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳, we also use the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳ Commitment.
What to know about the FAFSA®
Who should complete the FAFSA®Ìý´Ú´Ç°ù³¾?
Any student, regardless of income, who wants to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs. This includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans.
FSA ID Requirements
Both students and parents must create Student Aid Account () before starting their ¹ó´¡¹ó³§´¡Â® application. This requires two-factor authentication.
What do I need?
- Verified account username and password (FSA ID)
- Parent or spouse contributor name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email address
- Income and asset information (if required)
